If both the primary and backup(s) are present after the 100-mile training toss (January 3, 2009), the back up bird(s) can be activated for an additional $500 each. Any backup bird not activated by January 9, 2009 will become property of Silver State Challenge and become available for purchase and entry into the 300-Mile Race via an auction (opening bid: $150) the night of shipping for the 300-Mile Race (January 23, 2009).
The top 50 birds in the average speed race will be auctioned off online with 50% going to the breeder and 50% going to Silver State Challenge, after expenses.
There is a $50 buyback (which DOEOS NOT include shipping or obtaining any types of licenses, certificates or additional fees) for all the race birds not placing in the top 50 of the average speed race. Any bird that is not auctioned off or bought back by the breeder, will become the property of Silver State Challenge.
