9/5/2008 - Finally got the new inventory done and put onto the new system. The birds are doing well. The 9th and 10th flights are about 1.5 - 2" out. Birds have been taking it easy the past couple of weeks due to molting and flights being pulled. In the near future we will have the new system up where you can log on and see what your birds have been doing. More on how to access the new system later.
Yours in Sport, Ron P.
9/2/2008 - The weather has cooled somewhat and the birds are loft flying. The 2009 Entries has been updated.
7/24/2008 All but about 50/60 of the birds are pretty much settled and flying around the loft. We will be cutting 9th and 10th flights this weekend on the first 140, the rest will be done tduring the next 7 to 10 days. We will also give them their second round of wormer and shots. At this time we will also be doing a hand inventory and will post it on Monday. This will allow people time to get replacements sent and see how many will be in the race.
The health of the birds has been good this year. There are four in sick bay/recovery. This is not from disease, but from coming home all banged up. A couple look as if they hit wires' the others I can't really tell what happened. They seem stiff when they fly so I placed them in sick bay/recovery for a coule of days so I can watch them.
